After another failed relationship, Hedvika takes her three-month-old daughter Adélka and her dog to stay at her mother’s country house. Her relationship with her mother is strained and she is unsure of her maternal feelings, until she finds diaries her late father wrote for her as a child and begins to reconsider her past decisions.
